DP World Limassol port is the main cruise port in Cyprus and is considered as one of the largest and busiest ports of the Mediterranean. DP World Limassol was awarded a 25-year concession to exclusively operate the multi-purpose port and cruise terminal in Limassol commencing February 2017. The brand new 7,000 sqm Passenger Terminal commenced operations in July 2017, offering Cruise lines and passengers a wealth of services to accommodate all their needs accompanied by the high standards and efficiency of DP World Limassol.

The brief from the DP World Limassol team was to provide a modern, clean and creative design that captured the branding elements of the new passenger terminal. Working closely with the DP World team, we believe we have delivered an exciting end result that captures the exact guidelines from the brief.

To provide an immersive experience, we used a cinemagraph from an animated still photo for the Home page and we also used parallax effects to showcase the travelling options for Cyprus, creating a subtle element of depth that helps to create a distinctive and memorable website. Also, as the audience of DWPL will frequently be on-the-go, the design of the site has been built to scale responsively on desktop and tablet with a number of elements re-worked to render better on mobile. You can view the website here.

We’d like to thank DP World Limassol for their trust in Qobo for this project and it was great pleasure working with the DPWL team in delivering this exciting project.
