When Uniservices Ltd came to us and asked if we could develop a simple and elegant website that reflected the character of the company, we immediately felt using a parallax effect would produce a great result. We worked together with Uniservices to choose some striking images that revolved around sugar trading, and proceeded to construct a one-page scrolling site that would work perfectly on mobile as well. Parallax has been a big trend in website design in the last few years, and basically involves the background moving at a different speed to the foreground, thus creating a pseudo 3D effect.
